Harvesting the Future: A Workshop for Next Generation’s Farmers - [January Edition]

On the 13th of December of 2024, Green School Foundation, in collaboration with Bambu Indah, successfully hosted an agricultural workshop titled “Harvesting the Future: A Workshop for Next Generation Farmers” held at the Bambu Indah Resort in Gianyar, Bali. Recognizing the urgent need for more young agricultural leaders to ensure the sustainability of its agricultural sector in the future, we brought together young participants from the agricultural sector to learn valuable regenerative agriculture skills. Held at the renowned Bambu Indah, a boutique hotel renowned for its sustainable practices and thriving permaculture garden, the location provided an ideal and inspiring setting for this important initiative.

Green School Foundations’ Youth Environmental Conference 2024: Start from within curiosity, desire to know, love, then act on it.

Back on the 21st of June, a sunny day in Coral Triangle Center, in Sanur, we held our first Youth Environmental Conference that held a theme of: “Amplifying Voices of Indonesian Youth for a Regenerative Future. This event is the first conference organized by the Green School Foundation and will continue to be held annually to encourage and empower more young people to make an impact on the environment.

A Day of Silence: Lessons from Bali on Reconnecting with Ourselves and the Planet

Imagine a day where life pauses. No electricity, no traffic, just the embrace of pure silence. Bali recently held its profound tradition of Nyepi, the Day of Silence. The tradition is dedicatedto reflection, spiritual renewal, and reconnecting with nature. This holiday is marked as a significant religious holiday observed on the new year of the Saka Calendar.
